Lycia clients are not only able to transfer and view Binary Large Objects (BLOBs and CLOBs) using either the build in viewer or embedding an external viewer (ActiveX/Bean).

 But, one can also assign any appropriate external editor to modify the BLOBs on a mouse click locally and send the the modified data back to the central database/server storage.
