Querix® is a UK-based company that provides IBM®-Informix® 4GL and EsqlC compilers, development tools and services. Founded in 1994, the company is best known for its vendor independent Lycia Development Suite which allows producing and deploying one and the same business application for any operating system, database and infrastructure.

 

Lycia is the cutting edge development environment, providing you with everything you need to produce platform and database vendor independent high quality, fast performing and robust applications. The language is simple and bullet proof and does not require re-training of staff or re-writing of applications. Time-consuming tasks adding no value to your product such as deployment, different presentation layer streams for web, desktop and mobile devices, platform and database related porting and multiple source code branches for one and the same application are a thing of the past. Today, Querix employs over 40 staff, mainly located in Southampton and Kharkiv-Ukraine and is the leading IBM®-Informix® 4GL, ESQL/C and NewEra development tools author, with a dedication to the Informix community. Through its Global Partner network, Querix tools and services are used and can be obtained virtually anywhere in the world. We call ourselves a services and products provider.
